
PVC Foam Board Making Machine Production
PVC foam board is a very common advertising and building material.
Accounting to the production process, PVC foam board can be divided
into PVC Celuca foam board and PVC free foam board . PVC foam board
is also called expanded PVC , and its chemical composition is
polyvinyl chloride.
Its chemical properties are stable, Acid and alkali resistant!
Moisture-proof, mildew-proof, thermal insulation, sound insulation,
flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, smooth surface, moth-proof
and light, non-absorbent. The surface hardness of PVC free foam
board is average, and it is widely used in advertising exhibition
boards, mounting drawing boards, silk screen printing, carving,
etc.
Every PVC foam board manufacturer has a recipe, which shows the quantities of the raw materials to be mixed before the process starts.
There are three main types: PVC resin, Calcium carbonate and PVC additives.
1. PVC Resin
PVC resin is a thermoplastic powder and the chief raw material for the pvc foam board making machine. It has a number of properties such as anti-corrosives and insolubility
The resin is packaged in bags for shipping and has a white color, each bag is 25kg normally.
2. Calcium carbonate
Calcium carbonate powder is widely used in PVC manufacturing as a filler.
It also enhances the physical strength and whiteness of the final products.
Because it costs less than PVC resin and applies more in your formula can reduce the cost of manufacturing. However, it can wear down the extruder’s conical screws more quickly.
3. PVC additives
You will require PVC additives to enhance the properties of the final PVC foam board.
Some additives also make the manufacturing process run smoothly and ensure you get consistence of the final products.
